Consent before everything

B4ORE never runs a background check without the explicit, informed consent of the person being verified. A consent link shows the subject exactly which checks were requested before they decide, and declining requires no reason.

What we collect

For members: name, email, and account credentials. For verification subjects: name and email, plus the results of the specific checks they consented to. We never collect more than a check requires.

How data is protected

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Reports are visible only to the requesting member and are access-logged. We never sell personal data, and the subject of a check never sees who requested it beyond the name shown in the consent request.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Members can delete reports from their dashboard; subjects can reach us through the support channel and we will respond within one working day.

What B4ORE must not be used for

B4ORE reports are personal safety aids. They must not be used for employment, tenancy, credit, insurance, or any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or equivalent legislation.
